Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin announced on Twitter on Friday, March 20, 2020 that the Trump administration would extend the tax-filing deadline for 90 days from April 15 to July 15,2020, which is the same deferment for the payment of federal income taxes that was announced on March 18. The IRS is preparing additional guidance and we will share that update as we receive it.
