Mr. Jarrell is a Shareholder and member of the firm’s Corporate Services, Financial Services, and Litigation Groups. Mr. Jarrell devotes significant time to helping corporate clients, including several oil and gas firms, formulate and implement both their short and long term business strategies in connection with asset and equity acquisitions and dispositions, general operations, equity structure and business planning. He also counsels his oil and gas clients in connection with negotiation and drafting of joint venture, development and farm out agreements, vendor agreements, operating agreements, leases and other contracts. He also regularly counsels clients with regard to regulatory matters, land use tension, contract and commercial litigation, and title issues. His practice includes commercial credit recovery, workouts, and restructurings sophisticated Chapter 11 issues and litigation, foreclosure, liquidation, secured transactions and consumer recovery and Chapter 7 liquidations.
Mr. Jarrell is Treasurer and a member of the Board of Directors of Riverview Children’s Center, a non-profit educational institution located in Verona, Pennsylvania dedicated to the education and care of pre-school aged and school-aged children.

- Represented Appalachian Basin-based oil and gas production company in connection with recapitalization and private equity investment of up to $200 million.
- Has represented both purchasers and sellers in asset transactions involving hundreds of thousands of mineral acres in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
- Represents group of natural resource industry-related companies located in the Appalachian Basin in connection with various corporate governance, transactional, operational and contractual matters.
- Represented start-up natural gas drilling company specializing in horizontal drilling in connection with consummation of long term drilling services agreement with large oil and gas production company based in Appalachian Basin.
- Has extensive experience in the review and analysis of oil and gas title matters in connection with asset inventory projects, transactional due diligence, operational planning and drilling certifications.
- Represented purchaser in stock acquisition of closely-held company engaged in international resale of refurbished military vehicles and parts.
- Represented purchaser in stock acquisition of nationally-known public relations, advertising and crisis management firm based in Charleston, West Virginia.
- Successfully represented various oil and gas equipment suppliers in connection with filing and prosecution of Mechanic’s Lien actions.
- Assisted in representation of financial institution in the negotiation, settlement and recovery from parties involved with altered item as well as the negotiation and settlement of related insurance claim in which institution obtained a waiver of subrogation rights under policy and agreement to permit institution to control recovery efforts and share in proceeds to be recovered.
- Obtained defense verdict in bench trial of subsequent commercial transferee of fraudulently obtained property at trial of avoidance action brought by Chapter 7 Trustee.
- Obtained preliminary and permanent injunctive relief preventing real estate developer from tampering with gas well.
- Represented natural gas utility company before Pennsylvania Utility Commission in connection with tariff supplement and rate increase.
